Mya Hayes is a painter and mixed media artist living in Charleston, South Carolina. She received a B.F.A. in May of 2026 from the College of Charleston School of the Arts, concentrating on painting and drawing mediums.
She focuses on concepts of spiritualism, identity, memory, and impermanence in her oil paintings. The color of her work engages with mood and atmosphere, and her composition and layers imitate the mind in its understanding of past, present, and future.
